TermPilot is free to install and works with your own model provider API key. TermPilot Credits, which let you use official models without your own API key, are sold as a monthly or yearly membership. Both plans include the same features and differ only in the Credits granted each month.

What Credits roughly cover

Credits are based on the model input and output, so these are planning estimates rather than fixed limits.

3,000 Credits each month

About 900,000–1,125,000 CJK characters or 3.6–4.5 million Latin-alphabet characters for continuous translation.

About 2.1–2.625 million CJK characters or 8.4–10.5 million Latin-alphabet characters for continuous translation.

Each task costs at least 1 Credit. Actual usage varies by language, content length, task type, model tokenization, and response length. Continuous-translation estimates are not guaranteed character allowances.

Included with either plan

  • Credits are consumed by official model tasks. Using your own API key never consumes Credits.
  • Membership Credits are granted for each membership month. Unused membership Credits expire when the next membership month begins.
  • Free sign-in Credits are tracked separately and are not cleared when a membership renews.
  • Cancel at any time in the billing portal. Membership benefits continue until the end of the paid period.

Free to start

Installing the extension is free, and using your own model provider key needs no subscription and spends no Credits. New accounts also receive a free sign-in Credit allowance to try official models; it is granted once per account and once per device.

Billing, renewal, and refunds

Prices are listed in US dollars (USD) as the base price for each plan and exclude tax. Tax depends on your billing country and is calculated by Paddle at checkout. The tax-inclusive total is always shown before you confirm payment, and your account page shows the estimated all-in price for your country.

  • Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd. (Paddle) as merchant of record. Paddle handles payment, tax invoicing, and receipts; we never see or store your card number.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed price for each billing period until you cancel in the billing portal. You can cancel at any time and keep membership benefits until the end of the paid period.
  • The price and included Credits do not change during a paid billing period. We give reasonable notice before a material change, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
  • Refunds are handled by Paddle. You may request a discretionary refund within 14 days of a charge; further detail is in the Refund Policy.

How to subscribe

  1. Sign in to TermPilot with Google or an email verification code.
  2. Open your account and choose Member or Plus, monthly or yearly.
  3. Review the tax-inclusive total, confirm, and complete payment with Paddle. Receipts arrive by email, and you can manage or cancel the subscription from the billing portal at any time.
