Chrome extension for AI reading

TermPilot

Translate full webpages, explain selected text, summarize long documents, ask questions, and generate notes with your own model API key.

Designed for professional pages

Translate without losing technical context.

TermPilot keeps source text visible, inserts translations inline, and supports domain hints for software engineering, finance, law, medicine, education, research, business, marketing, e-commerce, gaming, media, tourism, and manufacturing.

Page translation

Translate navigation, headings, paragraphs, comments, and embedded frames in batches so long pages can complete progressively.

AI reader actions

Switch between translation, explanation, summary, Q&A, and note generation from the floating panel.

Bring your own key

Use DeepSeek, Qwen, OpenAI-compatible endpoints, or a custom model provider. The API key stays in your local browser storage.

How it works

A small floating assistant on every page.

  1. 1 Open the settings page and enter your model name, endpoint, and API key.
  2. 2 Open a webpage and use the floating TermPilot button.
  3. 3 Select text for focused explanation, or leave nothing selected to process the full page.

Privacy position

Built around user-owned model credentials.

Your API key is saved with Chrome extension storage on your device. It is sent to the TermPilot Worker only when you request translation or another AI action, and is not stored by TermPilot.

TermPilot does not store API keys, source text, translated text, questions, or generated notes. Anonymous usage analytics are used to understand reliability and feature adoption.
