Translate full webpages, explain selected text, summarize long documents, ask questions, generate notes, and extract difficult vocabulary with your own model API key.
TermPilot works with common OpenAI-compatible providers and custom endpoints. You choose the model, while domain hints keep professional context visible to the prompt.

Use DeepSeek, Qwen, OpenAI-compatible endpoints, or a custom model provider. The API key stays in your local browser storage.
When text is selected, TermPilot processes only that selection. Full-page translation is used only for page tasks.
Extract about ten difficult or high-value terms from the current page, then copy the vocabulary list for review.
Chunked translation shows counted progress and gives you a clear cancel action when a page is too long.
Pick a domain manually or let TermPilot infer it from page content. Combine it with glossary terms to keep specialized vocabulary consistent across pages.

Your API key is saved with Chrome extension storage on your device. AI requests go directly from the extension to your selected model provider and do not pass through TermPilot backend servers.
TermPilot only receives pseudonymous usage metadata. It does not receive API keys, webpage or selected text, translations, questions, glossary content, generated notes, vocabulary lists, or full URLs.
